All,
I have not been as good as most of you keeping up on the forum. This is supposed to be my slower time with my kids sports etc., but that has not happened. No excuses, just the way it is. As I looked back and saw so many Happy Birthday wishes It put a smile on my face. You all are the best, and I agree the 78ers are a special group. We are going to try and figure out Satuday, and the BIG TIME MACHINE....That should be fun. I heard Ricky Cosper was going to sing a couple of songs, I can't wait to hear that......Have a great day, look forward to seeing all of you. andrew dickman

******* TRILOGY UPDATE ****************** If you have not already called in, I just now included all the names on the list above, as part of the reservations for Saturday night !! You are now covered ! When you arrive, you can either ask for the North Clayton party or Tina Sargeant's reservation, they will find us one way or the other... ha ! They are planning on arranging tables in a room on the side so we can all party together and still see the Band from our room. See you all there, drive careful !! So far, there are 30 confirmed !! Some peepers and some added friends.

Charity Shopping Event

For those of you that live in and around Newnan you probably are aware that Belks is opening a new store in Ashley Park. A few days before the Grand Opening they are holding a Charity Sales Event which means you pay $5 to get in and then you get 20-50% off all your purchases. This will only be open to ticket holders and will be on Saturday before the Wednesday Grand Opening. The tickets to get in are being sold to benefit local charities and I am selling them to beneift the Alzheimers Association.

Event is Saturday March 7th
12:00 Noon till 8:00 PM
Cost $5.00
Proceeds to The Alzheimers Association

Happy Valentine's day to all my NC pals. Also, Happy Belated Birthday to those that I missed. Sorry if I don't respond in a timely manner, it's not that I'm ignoring you - it's just that the platelet exchange days take a lot out of me and I have to build up my strength again. Looks like we'll be going back to 5 transfusions a week for a while. Wish I could be there for the big party tomorrow night - I'll be joining you in spirit - I'll be the one dancing on the bar - ha! - Proud parent update - this just in... Victoria auditioned for her high school spring musical and got one of the leads. They are doing "Grease" this year and she's playing the part of Betty Rizzo (leader of the pink ladies).

Pat - Sorry to hear that you are back to 5 transfusions a week but so happy for Victoria. As I've told you before, you have an exceptional daughter. I'm so glad that she's still able to continue in activities while helping take care of you, your mom and grandmother. Watch your postal mail for another surprise. Gary said he doesn't even know you two but loves you very much. You are one strong woman and have a daughter equally as strong. She's one in a million and we were so impressed with her personal letter to us. Hang in there and our prayers are always with you.

Hello and hope everyone is having a wonderful Valentine's Day. We've finally thawed out here in Southern Indiana and made it through a second wind storm. We had a few more trees down, but no house damage and we didn't lose power.

I think I can finally be retired from the prayer list. I've gotten a good report from my drs and actaully had my chemo port removed a few weeks ago. I'm still in physical therapy for my knee, and my right hand and left elbow seem to be healed. Thanks to everyone for all the prayers, they certainly made a difference in my life these past months.

My prayers go out to all of those who are on the prayer list. Also, my prayers go out to those in our class that aren't on the prayer list, but need to remembered through these rough economical times. It would be nice for life to be a party all of the time, but unfortnately that's just not the way real life works.
