My story is simple. I married a gal from Sweden some 16 years ago. We met in France where I kept a pied-a-terre for some 18 years. We lived in Boston for 8 years before moving back to New Hampshire (where I completed Frosh. & Soph years of high school and lived for many years) and then on to Sweden. After my 8 years in television, I spent most of my professional career providing communication counseling services to clients in the USA (Lockheed Martin, Infinion Technology, Ingersoll Rand, many nuclear and electric utilities, etc.) Good fun. I am now retired... do a little lecturing here in Sweden and civic volunteer work in our village of 100,000. It's a university town... Lund University (some 38,000 students... largest in Scandinavia, I think.) Get back to States a couple of times a year to see my three daughters and and my 5 grandchildren... Remember fondly my time with all of you at BWHS!
Monsignor Spires told me I was the first student in the history of Watterson to be put on probation three times without being expelled. What did I do? Can't remember! Now I know I 'm getting old! Thank you Monsignor, wherever you are!!!

A "Rock" of Watterson has left us. He was the first person to extend his
unconditional friendship to me when I arrived at Watterson in my junior year.
I will always remember his kindness and good spirit.
May he rest in peace. Pax tecum!

Mike's father (Robert H. Poirier) was an accomplished scientist at Battelle Memorial Institute. Check out his background via google. Mike was the quiet one... would love to learn more about his scientific endeavors.
