Memories of Dayton

The Rike's Christmas Windows, one of Dayton's oldest holiday traditions, lives on inside the Schuster Performing Arts Center's Wintergarden. For decades the animated figurines graced the windows of Rike's Department Store at the corner of Second and Main Streets in downtown Dayton. The display is free and open to the public from 9 a.m.-7 p.m. daily through Dec. 23 except when the Wintergarden is closed for private functions.
