Linda was a transfer student to UC. Many years later when my daughter was in college (UC) she said that she had a friend from the Troy area (Maria) whose mom had gone to Colonel White and graduated in 1961. As these few degrees of separation stories go, a couple years later our Laura nd Maria (Linda's daughter) were bridesmaids in the same wedding in Cincinnati. Jim and I were seated next to Linda and her husband and so we reconnected. She was a friendly and gracious person and I am sorry that I did not get to know her better while we were both in high school. The end of this story is that only a few years later Linda died of cancer. We lose too many too early to this terrible disease. I am so glad that we made a belated connection and I will always remember Linda as the lovely lady I met again in 1995.

I didn't know Linda well, but do remember that she was friendly, smiled a lot, seemed very sincere! I was going through my own "stuff" and my memories are too often cloudy!
