We believe that Gordon may be the first classmate we lost. He will always be remembered for his friendly greetings for everyone and numerous stories. Such fun and memorable times. A short life well lived!
I stayed in close touch with Gordy after CWHS. He had had thyroid cancer when he was 12 and had it removed and had been cancer free until he was about 20 when he was diagnosed with liver cancer. He died in '65 or '66. My husband and I attended his funeral. He was a wonderful person - and very funny. I miss him still!
