In Memory

Nancy Kopelove

Nancy Kopelove

Nancy had to endure the hardships of MS over many years.  I still remember Biff Backus walking her back to her room during (I think...) our 25th reunion to make sure she got there safe and sound because she had gotten so tired.

Nancy used to kid about Mr. D telling her to get her Little Colonel marching legs up higher during practise.  She said she wondered if that was the very start of MS.  Despite all this I still remember her smile and the way she looked right in your face when she talked with you.  She made you feel that all her attention was with you.  Nancy, we miss you!

Nancy's sister Sue saw this remembrance of Nancy and thanked us for it.  How great that we reach family and friends of those we have lost.  Being remembered is important, isn't it....

Bob and Lauren Siegel

Sue Meltzer, Nancy's younger sister sent this recent picture of Bob and Lauren Siegel, Nancy's husband and daughter.  As Sue writes, "Lauren looks so much like Nancy in some pictures, it's scary!

I knew Nancy as a classmate at old E J Brown, and she was one of the nicest students - indeed, one of the nicest people I've known in my life.   The old cliche "only the good die young" certainly applies to poor Nancy.  Rest in Peace, Nancy, you left behind many good memories.
