Greetings All! It looks like yesterday was a busy day on the message forum! I look forward to renewing acquantices and seeing old friends. My husband, kids and I took our annual vacation to the Jersey Shore and Marianne Souchack Allen came down for the day with her husband and daughter. She is planning on coming to the reunion. We tried to talk her husband, Bob, into coming too. She mentioned that Kathy Bowe was planning on attending too.
It's funny how some foods are native to an area. I haven't had Taylor ham and cheese for years! I tried to explain it to my husband, but he had no appreciation for it. The first time I had Cincinnati chili I was mystified that it didn't contain beans (that's an add on)and it's put over spaghetti and topped with cheese. It does taste good!
My memory isn't as good as it used to be,but does anyone remember the play in which the glass decantar fell and broke? Did it belong to Judy Albensi's (sp)mom? I remember having such a sick feeling!
I don't get to Parsippany anymore as my parents moved a few years ago to Maine. But we did go through this summer to see the "old neighborhood" and it's amazing how the area has developed. It's hard to recognize.
It's wonderful reading the profiles and looking at the pics that people have posted. I hope more pictures will get added. Thanks Cheryl and John for getting our reunion in gear.
Have a great night. Lisa B.
