Baltimore was aa blast. Inner harbor is great. the Game, Chelsea vs. AC Milan was also reat. Boys were surprised at the tickets. We all had a good time.

Thanks for asking Deb.

Tom/Bez, or Harold, Remind me about the ALBERT nickname...It rings a bell but I can't remember the context. ps Hope everyone is having a great summer. We are sweltering here with no rain and I for one could use a break from this heat.....106 today.

Well Lisa I could tell ya, but I'd have to kill ya....

From what I remember it was the way it was said, I don't remember who it referred to but it was funny, I think.

Strange things we do as kids, I see coming back at me from my sons. My older son Christopher will start laughing uncontrolably for 30 - 45 minutes when he can finally tell me what was so funny I am like....thats not funny......

must mean I grew up somewhere.......

Aw gee Tom- that is such a sweet story about your son! I love it!

Speaking of our kids reminding us of ourselves...when we were on our cruise last month my oldest was being picked on by her friend tht was with us and told she was just like me, and therefore nicknamed "Little Debbie"! Now if you live inthe south you know Little Debbie is a brand of prewrapped desserts like Hostess. Great! My daughter is being compared to a brand of junk food!

Don't know the albert story - please share!

Tom, you might have to kill me which would probably mean I'd die laughing.......NOW CAN SOMEONE PLEASE REMEMBER THE ALBERT STORY FOR DEBBIE AND ME.

Harold,

I remember you being the person bringing in Al beeertt.

Can you explain? I just remember it being very funny.....

Guess I lost the reason for it being funny.

Did it have anything to do with Al DePaola?

Thomas J. Cornine

Lisa,

I really don't know possibly, I had to look up Al to remember him.

Lisa, Boy can I feel your pain with the heat, I think we are about to hit the 35th day of 100F or above. I am beginning to miss the Great Indoors. I know we don't have the heat that AZ has but this is getting old. But at least we don't have to shovel the heat!

We are also in deep POO concerning our water. Lake Travis (Supplies the Austin area) by next week will hit it's 3rd lowest level ever. Hate to say it but we are going to need several Tropical Storms or Hurricanes to fill the lakes and aquifers.

Ahh' Desert Living.

Hi Maureen...You must have heard me thinking about you. Still no rain here....the only moisture is on my top lip, under the pits and dripping off my nose....sexy right?

Lisa - Now that sounds hot. So much for the dry heat of the desert, but I'd still prefer it over the humidity. Have rain will travel. Not sure if it is a blessing or curse, but I appear to have a talent for ending a drought. Let me know if you want me to share my gift.

Debbie - Funny one about Little Debbie. Nice picture of your backyard visitor.

Maureen, Once your done bringing moisture to AZ, please swing by TX. It is so dry here that I am thinking about buying a water truck to keep my neighbors going.

This can all change in a hurry though, We have a saying.

" We get 32 inches of rain a year, You ought to be here the day we get it"

Seems our rain making efforts got muddled and bypassed Lisa-Greg Desert for Greg Island. Hope everybody is safe and sound and all is swell in Hawaii.

Well..........it rained here just as we made our final descent into Athens yesterday in order to move Christina into her dorm at UGA. Who can figure???? It doesn't rain for weeks and then all of a sudden the bottom of the heavens fall out when we needed it to be dry. Anyway, we survived the chaos physically, but mentally....am going to need some time to adjust to the separation!

Lisa- still hot there and dry? Greg- good one.....my elephant ears plant has been bowing down to the ground most of this summer. Am so tired of trying to make it praise God instead!
