Happy Birthday to JoAnn and Carol!

Greg N - Did you break the record? You are kind to think of your neighbors.

Tom - Glad to hear about the house sale, but sorry to hear your family news. May you find peace and happiness wherever you go.

Deb - Happy 25th Anniversary! Are you adjusting to your daughter’s move and to having a bulldog in the family? Is she in the marching band?

Lisa - Thinking of you and Noah as a furry friend (that looks like Noah) battles the curses of aging.

Bez - Frampton? Have you seen Masters of Reception - based on The Villa at Mountain Lakes?

Thank you all for the well wishes, these things happen for a reason. Life has been difficult for my wife and boys due to her illness, she thinks it will be better for her and I will abide by her wishes.

We will move on and find a way to deal with this in time.

happy times are ahead.

Maureen F., An arctic cold front blew in and reduced the temp to 94F. Believe it or not it made a difference!

Tom C. Good Luck and keep your chin up.

Let's see;

My oldest is now in Baylor for Nursing.

My youngest daughter is in Volleyball and select Soccer.

My son the 7th grader just made the 8th grade football team.

I am on the board of the Groundwater Conservation district, Got elected by 74% of the vote; 142/44. Ran a Helluva campaign.

How convenient since we have no rain and wells are going dry left and right. I am expecting a few crosses to be burning in my yard. Won't start any fires snce there is no grass left.

Greg- I share your pain with the drought there in Texas. Hopefully relief will be on its way soon. Things have finally eased up here south of Atlanta. Will pray for rain your way!

Maureen F- thanks for the wishes! It was a great day. Cannot believe its been 25 years, where does time go? Christina is adjusting quite well at UGA. She's heading home for the holiday weekend and then we will head up there on the 12th for the big S. Carolina game- go DAWGS! I am pretty sure that game will have us christened as official dawg fans! We actually have tickets for it - look for us - LOL!

Tom- I love your attitude, things will definitely be better for you with these changes!

Liz,

thanks for the warning on "Dating" for nearly 50 year olds, I realized it was probably a bad idea to "Double Down" and get 2 25 year olds for 2 reasons.

A. they'd Kill me.
B. I'm old enough to be there Dad, or worse may know there Dad......

So I will look for that nearly 50 year old.......

Ahhh, but Tom....we single, near 50-year-olds have been psychologically battered and bruised by men our age over the years and tend to drop-kick them now just for fun, given the opportunity. Personally, I would do the 2 25-year-olds....in a manner of speaking! ;D
