Let's see... I went to Loyola University down by the lakefront for a few years after high school, but never did finish. Since then I've been working both part-time (at a couple of bookstores, currently Barnes & Noble in Schaumburg... but only Sunday evenings) and full-time. Yeah, I do the two-job thing. :) Right now I'm working as a CSA at Hewitt Associates up in Lincolnshire, helping people keep their company benefits in order. It can be stressful--especially in October & November, when annual enrollment comes up--but it's a decent job with groovy co-workers, so I manage.

In my free time, I'm usually lounging in the living room, or online playing browser games or chatting in IRC. I'm also involved with a local Star Wars club, and occasionally go to sci-fi conventions. Yes, I am a geek and I'm not ashamed to admit it. So there! :D

I've participated in some online fan writing groups, and have ideas for some original work floating in my head. Unfortunately, I can never seem to find the time to really write these days... I am actually considering signing up for NaNoWriMo this year. It would give me a deadline, and I've always written best when faced with a deadline. I'll keep y'all posted.

Hmmmmmmmm... perhaps I'd best stop now, or this will turn into a bloody blog posting. We can't have that, now can we? :D That reminds me, I really need to post in my LiveJournal....
