After finishing college, I married Bob Anderson (fellow classmate) and began teaching high school in Elgin. A year later I gave birth to our first son, Eric. After teaching for five years, and having another son, Patrick, I decided to take a retirement job working as a hostess at the Black Ram in Des Plaines. After my retirement it was time to have another child, Kieley, 8 years later and go back into teaching. I am teaching elementary age children, first through third grade at a Montessori school. I recently finished my master's degree and enjoy teaching this age group. With a child in high school, one in eigth grade and a daughter in first grade, I am quite busy. Being married to a football nut, you can imagine what football season is like with the boys on different teams. I am excited about homecoming because Eric plays for the Spartans (opposing team) so we will see Maine West against our son's school, GBN!!
