Age 61, of Westland. Beloved mother of Kellee. Loving sister of William (Barbara) Barrel, Donald
(Barbara) Barrel, Richard Barrel and Thomas (Denise) Barrel. Also survived by seven nieces and
nephews. Memorial service Sunday 2 p.m. at Vermeulen Trust 100 Funeral Home, 980 N. Newburgh,
Westland (Btw. Ford & Cherry Hill). Family will gather with friends at 1 pm. until the service.
Memorials may be made to the family.
Notes: Bonnie was married to Charles J. Hohmeier (11/6/1937-4/23/1996) who passed away while
living in Frederiksted, Virgin Islands. Her brother, Donald, passed away on 7/11/20
Barbara J. Beatty (Moebs)
Bonnie lived on Chapel and went to McKenny Elementary. She was in the same girl scout troup as I was. She had 3 younger brothers who she baby sat for while her mother worked during the summer. She was proud to be 100% American Indian. Her father told me stories of his life on the reservation. Linda Emery and I were planning a lunch with her but she was having health problems and passed away before we were able to do that. She will be missed. Barb Moebs
