Sarah went to McKenny and was a great friend. She had a wonderful sense of humor and beautiful laugh. We lost track of each other in our adult years as she married and moved to California. She had two beautiful sons that I know of.
I just stumbled across a note I wrote when hunting for Sarah Brancato. The woman I found and spoke with had the same last name and was in her eighties. She said that Sarah died of lung cancer. She also told me that Mr. Hasnas was the father of her three children, 2 boys and 1 girl. They divorced and Sarah married again, but when that marriage failed, Sarah and Mr. Hasnas remarried. To me that was a 'happy story' to add here on a sad memorial page. The woman didn't know the years of their new life together before 2005 when Sarah died, but I have smiles in my heart for Sarah, him and their children that they were all back together.
