Sorry to hear about Bill's passing, it would have been good to see him again. We grew up together playing games and tricks and decorating his house for Halloween. We even borrowed gravestones from the maker at the end of his street on Codding and Grand River and placed them on the front lawn and had dummies hanging from the tree in the front yard. Bill would sit in a chair on the porch dressed as a scarecrow and just looked like a dummy holding a pot of candy. When the kids would come to help themselves to the candy he would move and scare the daylights out of them and I would jump out from the bushes dressed up like the hunchback of Notre Dame and chase the kids down the street. My mother and his grandma (Mrs. Edie Falco) played golf together in the WMGA (Women's Metropolitan Golf Assn)/ I spent a lot of tiome at Bill's house and enjoyed his company very much. His mom used to drive us to Redford whenever we wanted to go to the theater or for Kresgee's or Woolworths or the Feed store where they sold majic tricks and model planes etc. He was friends with Dale Koviak and Bobby Hunter and Bill Takkenan (I know I spelled his name wrong)Takky lived right behind the stone works where we borrowed the gravestones from.

P.S. we returned the stones after Holloween and borrowed them wioth the owners consent. He let us take the ones that were messed up and couldn't be sold.
