"I wanted to let you know that my Dad, Brent Hunter, passed away Friday September 20th. 
Thank you for staying in touch with him as he always enjoyed your conversations, and Linda, I have too. 😊
You asked, but Linda I’m not sure about an obituary.  We have a stepsister Dad made executor of his estate and she and my brother are in Michigan right now.  I’ll let you know if I hear anything. (Dad had a failing liver and other problems.  He died in the hospital.)
