Cecelia K. Karfonta [Do Not Contact]

Cecelia (Karfonta) Reisner

May 17, 1941 ~ January 9, 2022 (age 80)

Cecelia Reisner, age 80, passed away January 9, 2022.
Cecelia was the beloved wife of Stanislaus A. Reisner for 55 years; loving mother of Matthew (Robyn) Reisner, Samuel Reisner, Benjamin (Rachel) Reisner, and Luke Reisner; devoted nana of Abigail, Anna, Stanislaus, Caroline, Genevieve, Mariam, Roseanne, and Hannah; dear sister of Robert Karfonta; and mother-in-law of the late Lisa Reisner.

Cecelia loved being outdoors. She could often be found working in her garden or taking her daily walk through the neighborhood or woods. She truly loved her flowers and was so proud of the beauty she could help create. She was a fan of science fiction, which she both read and watched on TV. She was an avid reader in her day and also loved to travel. Cecelia was a member of the St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church community for 53 years. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her children and grandchildren, who all lovingly referred to her as Nana.

Of the some 850 students in our RHS January and June classes I did not know Cecilia.  She did not wish to be contacted in regard to the website   For those who did know her, I would encourage you to go to the In Memory posting obove, click on the obituary link, then click on the Tribute Wall postings and the video link.  Cecila seemed to and amazing person in terms of her values and inspiration for her family and friends.  I wish that I had known her.
