worked @GM during the GTO years, ran fathers service station @ 6 & evergreen (std oil and goodyear tires) moved to Canada,then Lake sherwood in Milford, mi, next to fla owning 2 stores in Fishermans Village Punta Gorda. Back to mi working in the boat industry and finally owning a small vacation resort in Holland mi. worked for 13 years @ empire co at the same time building displays for Lowes and indepedent lumberyards. Sold the resort to a scam pro that took us for 520,000 bucks. Moving to Marshall mi soon to be near our daughter and look for work. Forgot to mention had a vintage hydroplane that I ran at the 2007 Gold Cup on the Detroit River....had to sell that too! Boating has been in my blood since childhood...had over 40 boats, lost lots of money but still love to laugh and am optimistic. Our son Bret still plays Hockey, has two sons playing AAA hockey and he coaches a team at Orchard Lake St. Marys. Somehow he finds time to work. Not to be outdone our daughter Holly has a graphics business including sandblasting signs and banners. I used to be full of energy like them but now naps are my main business.

The best thing about Redford were the friends I made there and learning just enough to go to Central Mich . There were more people in our Grad class @ Redford than the entire CMU enrollment so Redford always felt like a big city and CMU small town. In one of my drafting classes Dave Whitehouse used to let me drive his 50 Ford while he was still in class (I skipped with Greg Darst) The worst memory was smasing up my own 50 Ford on Chapel by the fottball field... ran into the back of Brian Clapps late 40's chevy. Hardly touch his car and totaled mine.
