Larry was a member of our outstanding football team of 1958.  He was also a member of our outstanding track team.

Larry played right halfback on our football team, and alternated with Bud Olmstead and Kirk Armstrong at that position.

Our right halfbacks were all very fast, and were used mostly in reverse plays.  Larry was always tough at practice as 

well as in games.   

Even though  we were team mates I was not close with Larry.  Partly because I was playing end and had different 

responsibilities, but I will remember that he was a dedicated player on our team, and someone who could be counted to

do his best.
