Carol (Robinson) Stevenson 

1940-2025

Her Legacy… Carol Sue Stevenson, 84, passed away January 3, 2025. She was born on June 30, 1940, in Ypsilanti, Michigan to Myles Robinson and Florence (Hedrick) Robinson. Carol was a beloved school bus driver for Pinckney schools for 30 years. She was also very instrumental in her fight against privatizing the bus system in Livingston County. After retirement, she went to drive a bus for U of M, doing so for 15 years. Carol was a Scottish dancer in her youth. In her later years, she enjoyed cross-stitching, knitting and ceramics. She had a huge love for cats and was very loving and caring. Carol liked going to the casino and playing cards with her grandchildren and friends. She was incredibly strong, thoughtful and giving, and had a great sense of humor. Carol was adored by her family and friends and will be deeply missed.

Her Family… Carol will be missed by her children, Robert (Laurie) Stevenson, Susan Stevenson; brother, Robin Robinson; grandchildren, Jeremy Shafley, Laura (Roger) Gwyn, Matthew (Stephanie) Bulszewicz, Ryan Stevenson, Jenalyn (Vince) Cherry; and 9 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Myles and Florence Robinson; and siblings.

Her Farewell… Carol’s family and friends will gather Friday, January 10, 2025, from 4:00PM-8:00PM, at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Howell Memorial Chapel in Howell, Michigan. Her Community Farewell will take place at 6:00PM. Pastor Dan Quagliata will serve as Celebrant.
