Lydia's Latest Interactions
Lydia and I had some fun and interesting visits during school hours, but never socialized outside of Redford.
After the 50th reunion, she called laughing about the Patsy Cline lip sync. From then on, she'd call periodically and let me know what and how she was doing. Her eyesight was failing and she was having more and more difficulty with ADL's (activities of daily living). The father of her children had been killed in a sledding accident around 1967 when the two children were real young. She remarried, but the marriages didn't work out. She had a good attitude but shared many disappointments with me. I was understanding and sad about much she'd been through. Life can be so difficult for so many. Peace forever, Lydia.
