Loving mother of Ann (Greg) White of Waterford, Julie (Bill) Freitag of IL, Janice (Joe) Rosiek of Howell and John (Mary) Schmaltz of Houghton Lake. Sister of Anthony (Debra) Piccolo, Rita (Dennis) Podeszwick, Joann (Meek) Walker and the late Phyllis Anderson. Dear grandmother of Nathan, Shanna, Randall, Shane, Michael, John and Kathleen. Mrs. Schmaltz was a member of the Detroit Archers and along with her husband had owned Pro Land Archery in West Bloomfield. Funeral Service will be Thursday, July 1, 2004, 10:30 a.m. at the RIVERSIDE CHAPEL, Simpson-Modetz Funeral Home, 5630 Pontiac Lake Road, Waterford. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday and Wednesday 3-9 p.m. Interment White Chapel Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or to the Michigan Humane Society.
