Timothy John McGillis:   b. 2-1-1941,  d. 11-14-2003 in Urbandale, IA,

Timothy J. McGillis, 62, son of Helen Grace and John Daniel McGillis deceased of Detroit, MI, passed away Friday, November 14, 2003 at Mercy Medical Center.  Private services will be determined by family and held at a later date.  Memorials may be made to the Cardiac Care Unit at Mercy Medical Center for the exceptional and loving care they provided for Tim.  Tim was born in Pontiac, MI on February 1, 1941 and was raised in the Detroit area.  He graduated from Michigan State University and attended Wayne State University Law School.  He married Christina Kneisel on August 22, 1964.  In 1972 Tim moved his family to Des Moines and started work with General Motors as a salesman for GM's AC Delco Division.  Later he worked at Hickin GM, a General Motors distributor and its acquiring company Interstate Diesel.  Tim is survived by his wife, Kimberly Terrell, grandson, Christopher Holsinger, granddaughter, Kelsey Terrell of the Des Moines area; and sisters, Joan Mecoll of Berkley, MI and Jean Keller of Houston, TX.
