If you are still deciding if you are coming or not - Just Do It! We want to see you.

It will be great fun to see if we can recognize each other!

I love the photos that have been posted - if you haven't posted please do - especially if you are not coming we need an update on what has been happening and of course we need those photos.

See you all real soon.

Vickie & Elaine, Thank you so much for taking charge of the reunion. I am looking forward to all of us getting together and bring back the memories. Do you have any kind of agenda yet? I am getting excited about this trip although if gas keeps going up any more, I might have to take out a second mortgage on my house. LOL. See you soon. Julian

I have also been wondering if we have an agenda. It would help to plan when to arrive, etc. Also, are we sharing any meals together?

I guess we could all just go shopping. It is hard to get Tech merchandise in the Alamo City. They believe that the only two universities are orange and maroon.
GUNS UP!!!!

For those coming in on Friday - we are delighted to put together whatever is of interest - just let me know.

There is a City wide event - 4th on Broadway that kicks off with a Parada, then a Stret Fair and about 6:30 pm local musicians begin playing at McKenzie Park, Lubbock is celebrating its 100 Birthday so Mac Davis is the spokesperson and has been here several times and will be here again also Richie McDonald from Lubbock formerly with Lonestar will also perform. The music will continue until dark when the Lubbock Youth Symphony Orchestra plays music coregraphed to the fire works display.

Don't know what time folks will be here on Friday....if you desire something simple like good dinner, good converastion with ole friends that is great too!

Any other suggestions - please let me know.

It is early Sunday morning. Just got home. Hated having to leave, but had other commitments for Sunday. It was great seeing everyone. Have to apologize to Allan, Sue, Jack, Tommy, Ronnie, and Scott for not visiting alot with you, but having seen you regularly or lately, I know what is going on in your life. Although it was still great seeing you. The great thing about the reunion was seeing and visiting with all of you that I haven't seen in quite a few years. What I also noticed was how everyone was doing much like me. Spending time visiting with as many as possible. And as for me, really enjoyed it. Thanks to Elaine and Vickie. You two did a great job. Seeing Rochelle brought back memories of the DIRGE in band. Seeing Anita brought back , well memories I told her about.(Its ok though Anita, I was use to being runner up - in this case fast, but not slow - remember I was the one who always ran against Tommy for an office) Visiting with Jimmy J. just reminded me that we all grew up in a small farming community, which even though many of the classmates have venture in many directions out in the world, we are still at heart work orinated, friendly people and Dimmitt and DHS left its impression on all of us. I still could not believe Zito coming. My visit with him and his lovely wife was very intersting and enlightening. Intersting visit with Linda and finding out she was friends with Howard before he came to FBC. Finding out where and what Cecilia, Vickie, Vickie, Ronnie, David, Donny, Elaine, Poppy, Paula, Cousin Mary, Mary, Jimmy, Julian, Larry, Gary, Jerry, Paul D,, Pete, Keith, Danny, Glen, and finally Debra, who I found out much more about her than I guess I really ever knew. Hope I didn't forget anyone. Memory is not like it use to be. I really feel sorry for all that were not able or didn't make the effort to attend. I wish I had been able to get there friday nite ,but just couldn't work that in, but ever so glad I came on to Lubbock satuday afternoon and evening. May each of you continue to have the best in life and may God be with you.
