For several years I have given thought to a relocation to Central America - mostly Costa Rica, Belize, and Panama. But in my studies of what would be a good fit for our needs, I kept coming back to this village on the Northern shore of Lake Chapala. It has an almost perfect climate and allows me to be in Houston within 3 hours.
We visited last October for 4 weeks and had planned to return for a month each in April and September of 2019. We agreed that we could live (t)here so I kept an eye on new residential listings and when this home came on the market we made an offer and purchased it. We sold our home in Andrews, our cars, my Harley, had an estate sale packed a few things then moved.
