Robert Joseph McGovern

I was in the Navy serving as a Hospital Corpsman with a specialty in Cardiopulmonary Technology and Medical Recruitment. I served from 1975 until I retired in 1995. After retirement, I went into Home Improvement and became an Executive with the largest Home Improvement Company in the Florida Panhandle and became a Florida Licensed Roofing Contractor. I retired again in 2009.

Since February 2015, I am working at a hospital in Pensacola as a Security Officer.

I earned a BS in Human Resource Management from Park University in 1991 and graduated Cardiopulmonary Technique School in 1980.

I have written ten books of poetry and one book on Home Improvement Contracting, published under my pen name "Mac McGovern." In September 2016, "A Tale Of Two Boys" a book about growing up in Dubuque during the 1950's and early 1960's was published and is available at Amazon and at over two hundred book distributors, in bookstores, and outlets.
