Jane Marie McMahon, 69, formerly of Hertford, NC, and more recently of her brother’s home in Creswell, died Friday, August 7, 2015 in Albemarle Regional Medical Center, Elizabeth City.
Jane was born in Springfield, Massachusetts on February 27, 1946, the daughter of the late Frank J. and Jane Smith McMahon. After ELHS, she graduated from UMass in 1968.
The former owner of Hertfordshire Antiques, and the Covent Garden Bed & Breakfast, both in Hertford, she was active in both the Downtown Merchants Association and the Chamber of Commerce.
Surviving is her brother, Daniel McMahon of Creswell, North Carolina.
