In Memory

David Mosedale

David Mosedale

From David's brother Ken:

My brother David passed away January 24 after a period of declining health. He was in his own bed in his own house with his wife Joan. David had an adventurous life. After ELHS he graduated from Bryant College with a business degree. His first job was selling insurance. He hated it. The Viet Nam war was raging. As a CO, he became a VISTA worker in San Francisco and married the love of his life, Joan.

After becoming a Union carpenter, he relocated to the Lake Tahoe area. He designed and built many custom houses in Lake Tahoe and later in Santa Rosa, CA. He befriended many folks along this journey.

His later years were spent in Ukiah, CA, closer to their daughter Erin and her sons Aiden and Jaxon. He was predeceased by his sister Marcia and his brother Robert, ELHS 64. He is survived by his sister Linda and his brother Kenneth ELHS 64. He will be missed by many.

Dear Ken, Please know I'm thinking of you and David's family. I often reminisce, especially with my grandkids, about growing up on Ridge Rd. I think they're a bit envious of all the freedom we had as kids. No story is complete without my mention of the Mosedales. Such fun memories. Take care and please extend my sympathy to Linda, as well. Martha

I'm so sorry to learn of David's passing. I've often wondered about David's career path and I'm pleased that he found his passion in building. His was a life well lived. My sincere condolences to you Kenny and to all of David's loved ones.
