Steve Cramer

Went to college at U. Va. (BS in Mech Engineering) - went to work for Kelly-Springfield Tire Co in Cumberland, Md + somehow got into Maryland Nat. Guard during height of Vietnam war. Worked there for about 6 years & finished military obligation, then left & went to work for Cooper Tire Co. here in Findlay, Oh. Through experience with tires, became tire service life expert and ended up testifying in court cases occasionally (scary at first but turned into being fun). In between, played some golf, bowling and love anything outdoors. Now I still try to walk 5 miles a day outside summer or winter. I got married in 1980 and stayed happily married until late 1995 when my lovely wife (Cathy) died of cancer. Have been a widower ever since and continue to enjoy the singles life.

Looking back, I think I was kind of a nerd at high school. My dad was kind of strict and pretty much limited me doing many of the fun things we kids did back then. So, after graduation, I went to college as far away from El Paso and home, as possible. Needless to say, I had fun at college (yea !) but still graduated. Then went to work and enjoyed life ever since.
