Fred Schneider is helping to organize the 1969 40th Reunion and has kindly included our class. I sadly missed the 40th because I didn't know about it.........staying in touch and keeping communication alive from California is not one of my strengths. If I had talked less to Joanne Dickstein and other buddies and typed more in Mr. Meeks class, I may have been a better typist. Oh well.......

Believe it or not, Spring 2009 rapidly approaches and marks the 40th anniversary of our graduation from Elmont Memorial High School. We have not had a formal get-together since some of us met at the Orchid Chinese Restaurant in Garden City on May 15, 2004. Now, we would like to get together, increase our attendance, see old friends, reminisce and in general, catch-up, this time, with an Italian flavor.
Your Reunion Committee, Liz Bruno Stranathan, Robert Goldaper and Fred Schneider, have reserved the Ballroom at the trattoria/bar, Pappa Razzi, in Westbury, where there is ample parking and the facility is near the Westbury stop of the L.I.R.R. We have planned a menu of fabulous Italian foods and desserts and an evening of nostalgia, fun and old friends. Please visit the restaurant’s website if you want a preview of the venue for the evening.
In the meantime, we need to collect the funds to pay the restaurant for the cost of the function, so request that you send in your checks using the attached coupon, As Soon As Possible, c/o Fred. Feel free to bring a spouse, significant other, or a friend who was a faculty member or an Elmont graduate from a different year. All are welcome.
