We raised four children who are just great..three in Chicago area(one in Park Ridge with a 3 year old.Getting ready for my younger daughter to be married of all places in the Orrington in March. My oldest is in Omaha, NE with four kids, 11,9,6 and 5. I got a masters in counseling education, which I used for twenty years at Regina HS and Chicago Public Schools. Retired three years ago and we travel a lot. We went to visit an old Marywood friend, Joan Lacy, in 2006, in China where she and her husband were residing.She is visiting here tomorrow. I keep up with Nancy Daniels, who lives in Poughkeepsie, NY not to far from my husband's childhood home. AND after 37 years in my lovely one car garage home, we are getting a new garage...2 cars..fancy that!! Eat your heart out Sr. Collette!!

When Sister Colette called me a "Chicago Hood" (pronounced who "d")for tapping Kathy Hansen on the shoulder to ask for two nickels for a dime. (I needed it to use the "big girl" machine in the restroom for the first time at age 15.) Her attempt at humiliating me backfired when I asked her to repeat what she called me, three times,feigning deafness, and then I took her to task for trying to change her admissions policy to exclude girls with a Chicago address,attempting to improve the "Ladylike" quality of Marywood's enrollment. She then nominated me for National Honor Society in junior year, totally undeserving as I was.)It's amazing to me that any of us came out in tact emotionally with that kind of craziness at the helm!...Oh, well, it could have been worse. If this isn't funny, I've got more. ha ha
