Death of Kris Haggerty

It is with great sorrow that we are announcing the death of Kris Haggerty. Kris Haggerty, age 66, of Bethel Township, passed away on May 15, 2024. He was born on August 14, 1957 in Fairborn, Ohio to the late Jean Haggerty. His memory will be cherished by his wife of 39 years, Erma Haggerty; his daughter, Sheri (Jeremy) Crowley; his fur-baby, Bailey; grandson: Jesse; his siblings: Kit (Sherry) Haggerty and Kim (Kelly) Tinsley; nieces: Megan, Natalie, and Nicolle; and great-nieces, a great-great-niece & great-great nephew, family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, please check back for more information.


A Scholarship has been set up in perpetuity for Fairborn Track Athletes in honor of Joe Morgan.

Joseph “Joe” Morgan graduated from Baker High School in 1975. He was co-captain of the track and field team during his senior year. “Joe” Morgan lettered in discus and shot, competing in district competition for both events, and following high school, he graduated from Ohio State University with a degree in Business Administration. “Joe” Morgan had a successful career in the pharmaceutical industry retiring in 2005. Fairborn High School was reconstituted in 1982.

Selection Criteria: Letter in varsity track and field at Fairborn High School; Minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5; and, Plan to attend a community college, technical school, college or university in the State of Ohio.

Fifth Saturday Breakfast for Fairborn Baker Class of 1975 

Hi Baker Class of 75.

We had a great turnout for our 5th Saturday Breakfast on 6 Apr 24. Our next breakfast reunion will be on 29 Jun 2024 again at the Fairborn Family Diner at 9:00.   Come join us if you are in town or haven't left!
