I have been trying and trying to find Paul...was told this morning that he showed up here on the Memorial Page.  So sad to hear.  Paul and I took off the day after graduation for our "adventure".  We headed south to Alabama, sleeping in a park and got rousted by the police.  Thankfully they just sent us on our way rather than anything more...Surprising considering the times and our long locks!  We drove through New Orleans and on to San Antonio, to visit my aunt and uncle.  On to Albuquerque, up through Colorado and to Bozeman, Montana.  Paul, my older brother Harry and I headed up to Glacier National Park...we took a camping trip into the deep back country, forging rivers with our packs over our heads with water up to our chins...camped at a most pristine alpine lake.  On our hike out we were literally treed by a grizzly bear!  We fortunately climbed higher than the bear could reach and he soon tired of nosing around and wandered off.  Paul was a very faithful friend in high school and we spent lots of time together, playing football for Baker, hanging out at his house or ours and otherwise trying to figure out this thing called life.  I am sorry to hear of his passing and only wished I could have tracked him down before he was gone.
