I had a wonderful time at the reunion however I believe the holiday weekend prevented some classmates from attending. Extra activities like a school tour or a family picnic would have been nice also. Thanks to Vicki and Doug for organizing the Friday night social. And even though I did not attend, thanks to Ellen and Kathy for hosting a Sunday morning get together.

Great to see all our class mates.

What was the food we ate?  I guessed they were beef tips without noodles and chicken on a stick. Kinda reminds me of school cafeteria food!!

No pizza?? No buttered bread?? No peanut butter bread??

A Big Leo and a sack of fries would have hit the spot!!

For the 50th some of us might need Ensure, but hopfully not Depends!

I really enjoyed the reunion. Talked nonstop for about seven hours!

A few suggestions: since the Friday night function was better attended than the Saturday, why not make Friday the main night and Saturday the secondary night? It seems that many people might have had plans for this holiday weekend and that whereas they might have attended Friday night (and then gone elsewhere on Saturday) they just had to skip Saturday's main event.

Also: I don't think you need to have a DJ and dancing, and especially not ten years from now. Maybe karaoke, since we would have a chance to ham it up. But basically people wanted to talk. When the music started, the room got almost empty as people went out in the hall to talk.

I thought that the food was alright. However, I think it could be simpler, too. I think it would have been nice if the registration cost had included tickets for a couple of drinks. I'm not used to paying bar prices and I was kind of shocked to have to pay $5 for a bottle of beer.

Actually, you know what would be really nice? If the reunion party were held at someone's house. There will be fewer people ten years from now, and the registration money could go to food and drink and supplies so it didn't cost the host anything. I'd do it myself, if I had a house, and if the house were in Fargo!

Thanks so much to the organizers. It was very special for me to come back (it was my first time back in 20 years, and only the second in almost 40 years) and I appreciated the effort to get as many people as possible to attend and to provide an environment that worked.

Thanks to all who made this reunion possible. I appreciate your work. My only regret is that I missed the Friday night gathering - I hear it was great fun. I hope to see you ALL in ten years, if not sooner. I was reminded last weekend of all the wonderful souls I have shared this great adventure with for 18 years - and beyond. It is quite a trip. Let's keep on keeping on.

A big thanks to the Reunion Committee! Well Done.  I had a wonderful time with wonderful people. It was over so fast. I think a mixer mixer next summer in the twin cities area might be fun. So many of us down here now.  Stay in touch. Happy Trails. I'll get some photos uploaded here soon.

I thought the event was well attended and absolutely a blast!  I enjoyed the intimacy of Friday evening and I thought the buffet was excellent, maybe my taste buds are older than others, but it was quite tasty.  Buying beverages is just that - you get what you pay for.  And I bought extremely well.

Kudos to the group who organized this event for those of us not living in the vicinity of Fargo.  I liked the timing as it allowed me to not only attend the reunion and reconnect with classmates but also spend some wonderful days with the family still in the area.

To all my former classmates and their better halves, great time and thanks for the memory.

I like to live out loud and cannot wait for another event..... the sooner the better.

Great job you guys!  And, you know who you are :)

I had a wonderful time, many, many thanks to all the committee for a job well done.  I had not attended a reunion since the 10th (which wasn't a pleasant experience) but I'm really glad I attended the 40th!  The high school "clicks" seemed to have finally faded and people were just themselves, very refreshing. The Friday night get-together was great, again, thanks to Vicki & Doug.  Thanks to Steve P. and Steve R., what a special tribute to those no longer with us.

I also don't think we need a DJ for the 50th, most people just want to talk and catch up on what everyone's been doing over the past years.  The food was okay but for $45.00 I think it could have been different.  Checking with others, who organize this type of function on a regular basis, they said it was very high priced.  I will volunteer to be on that committee next time (in 10 years).

I should have thought of the breakfast gathering sooner and had it on Saturday as only 5 people from our class were able to make their appearance.  I know lots of folks had other family plans due to the long weekend which I understand.  I wish everyone smooth sailing for the next 10 years, hope to see everyone again and for those that didn't attend, you missed a truly special time to reconnect with some of the BEST people you will ever cross paths with.  Kathy

Does anyone know how to get in touch with Roger Knopp?  I know he still lives in Fargo on Broadway but only has a cell phone number which I couldn't find.  Thanks, k

I thoroughly enjoyed both days.  It was so good to see everyone and catch up. Class of '71 is awesome!

Thank you so much to Vicki and Doug for arranging the Friday night mixer.  The Hub was the perfect setting for a small group to visit.  Saturday I thought there was many more people attending and also very nice.  I thought the food was good and bar prices pretty average.  I'm sorry I didn't make it to the brunch on Sunday morning but I didn't hear about that until I was leaving Saturday night.

The one thing I have enjoyed in the past (10th and 20th) was the book of photos and information that were available for sale.  I understand the concept of viewing everything on the web, but a paper copy would not be taken down eventually.  Also, I really hope the photographer makes the photos available for sale on a disk in high resolution as I didn't get as many pics as I would have liked.  Surely I thought others would be posting their photos online.  COME ON YOU GUYS, WHERE ARE YOUR PHOTOS?

Anyway, it was all very nostalgic and made me long to move home to Fargo...nah I still gotta work.

Love you all, see you in another 10!!

To whoever is on planning committee for future reunions, please find a way to make reunion less costly.  There are quite a few of us that have stayed home because it was too expensive.
