Where it’s gone: eighteen years in Fargo, four in Providence, one in Cambridge, ten in Charlottesville, two in Maine, two in India, two in England, the rest in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. Married at 24 and still married (for a little while longer; we’re disentangling, it’s going cordially and deliberately). Kids: Harry (’93), Clara (’97); he’s itching to drive, she’s a full-blown teen. Dickinson College, idyllic liberal arts haven, but sometimes the rich kids are too much for me. I’ve had a beeline career through many subjects: Tibetan Buddhism first, but Hinduism, Yoga, Native American Religions, love and marriage, British culture, spiritual healing, many others. I've published some books. Someday I hope to write a good one. I'm working on certification as a yoga teacher so some day I can teach yoga and meditation to people my own age or older. Much involved with a Unitarian church where I sing in the choir and occasionally give sermons.
