Looking for a cross-section of ideas on what you'd like to see/do Saturday night at the reunion. I know there is still some discussion of a DJ. Dell has suggested some karaoke. Anything else?

And if anyone is interested in being the LEAD on this, I would greatly appreciate it since my plate is full with website, $$$ collection and slide show.

i suggested singing if we spent money on a DJ.

I will be happy to make other suggestions, if you would like.

I can pitch in on this if a small committee of people can help put a basic program of fun together and give ideas. Would Derek, Cynthia, Dell and Mindy agree to formally help? If any one of you do not want to be on it, speak now or forever hold your peace. And the more the merrier - ANYONE else can help or give ideas too. I'm all for committee work, as you can tell :)

emphatic.. probably was.. I'm fairly emphatic about most of my conversations after 5 crowns and 3 jagers.

not that I don't like the idea... if I had to make an idiot of myself, I'd choose it over dancing.

I'd say book the DJ and I could likely promise my husband for a rendition of "Brandy" at the mike. I'm more interested in dancing....Derek: does he have a large collection of stuff - from pop to old country to rock and whatever? And so would we need to readjust payment for this Shannon or is there another way to pay for it? I was thinking it would be nice if we somehow had CDs to sell of whatever slide show we put together and perhaps we could up the price a bit for those and use some of the revenue to fund the DJ? n

i am happy to help, nicole.

Brandy, she is a fine girl ....isnt she. Great song. I am up for anything, having the DJ is fine, i just want to make sure that we have some ideas of "stuff" to do with him. I have some thoughts on some things, Nicole why dont you start a group email / facebook message so we can start to share the ideas with the people you have mentioned.

Dont worry Shannon, i will be the voice of reason (as usual) and not let this group get too crazy ;)

Nicole,

He has a huge library. I'll get with him and ask for ideas based on his experiences at different events and post them for discussion.

Thanks for watching over us Dell.

based on the $40 pp there is some cushion there. How much cushion will depend on how many people actualy attend and pay for their reunion tickets. We're on the same wavelength, nicole, I hope to have a CD/DVD to sell of the slideshow to make some revenue--that $$$ can either cover some expenses for this year's reunion or go toward the next one.

dell-would you like me to send another email to the group to start getting numbers?

And might I remind this illustrious group (Dell, Beau, Derrick, Nicole) that none of you have paid for your tickets yet :)

What's worse than that???? Chris Spain was the FIRST to pay for his tickets.

I paid up so there. ;)

Shannon-Even though I won't be able to make the reunion, I found some old pictures that were hilarious!! I can't seem to figure out how to scan them, so I can bring them to you if you are still looking for pics, but I need them back. Just let me know.

Thanks Cyn: I sent you a msg....Also, Shannon: sorry, you may have already answered this but is it easiest for you to get photos off this site when we upload them here? Or is it easier in an email, etc.? AND do you have pics from the 1989 annual? Because I have it and I could try and do some scanning. What is taking me the most time is that all my photo albums are buried in the back of a closet but I want to try and get them out this week. xo

Shannon White (Caldwell)

to all: you can upload photos to this site and I can pull them off OR you can send them directly to me in email. Whichever you find to be the easiest.

Dell you can fedex actual photos to me and i'll do all the computer stuff ;)

Yes Nicole I do have the 1989 annual and have already started to do some damage with it :))

I even got lucky and found the senior photo for you, Rhonda and Kim...and of course I have lots of Farmerette photos.

What a crock of chicken shit.

Shannon White (Caldwell)

derrick, could you not have gone for the alliteration?

"what a crock of chicken CRAP"

Derrick Hagler

I suppose I could have Shannon but it just doesn't have the same ring to it.

I apologise to all that are offended by the word shit.
It actually an acronym for Ship High In Transit.
A long long time ago manure was carried accross the ocean in the bottom of ships. It would get wet and the fermintation process would start producing methane gas. When someone went into the hull with a lantern it would explode and sink the ship. Therefore they moved it up higher in the hold to keep it dry and the word s.h.i.t was born.
