After high school worked as a union carpenter for J. E. Dunn, Kansas City, MO - retired after 10 years due to medical reasons. Moved back to St. Joseph in 1995, re-connected with my 8th grade sweetheart, Gary Dye. We were married in June 1996. I enjoy riding my motorcycle along with my husband anytime weather permits and when it doesn't I enjoy quilting.
School Story:

I was very instrumental in getting the Mid Buchanan Board of Education to approve allowing females to sign up for Industrial Arts classes (shop and drafting).

Harvey the Rabbit....My 16th birthday there was a big snow storm. Me, my family and Terre Turner built this huge rabbit out of snow and it made the gossip paper...Buchanan County Farmer!
