Linda Pelletier (Majka)

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to remind everyone that I am still willing to do a slide show if I can get a hold of some pictures. I have gotten about 15-20 and would need 60-75.

Thanks.

Linda

Hi Everyone

I could use some help in locating a few of our classmates and would appreciate any help you can give me. So far I've had 3 of the invitations I sent out returned to me with incorrect information. Gary Cyr's (244 Farminton Ave, Plainville, CT) was returned not deliverable as addressed; Deborah Ouellette Harrison (33 Spruce St, Bristol, CT) was returned as no such number; Gary Voisine (68-1876 Marcina Pl, Waikoloa, HI) was returned no mail receptacle. Please let me know ASAP if you can help me get a better address for these classmates.

Hi to all,

Just letting everyone know that I have reserved the SwampBuck Restaurant for Friday, July 3rd at 7:00 p.m. Please send in your invitations to Gail a.s.a.p. so we can have a more accurate figure of how many will be attending. I spoke with the manager and he would like some idea so as to not book another party upstairs. There is no charge to use the facility with hopes that we all drink and eat there. It should be a great time!!

Looking forward to seeing everyone!!

Lisa

Thanks Lisa. I know that I'll try to be there. I'm traveling up that day and it all depends on how the traffic flow is in southern Maine as to if I'll make it up in time.

Linda,

Just went through my photo album and I have approx 30+ pictures for you. Easier for me to mail them to you than scan each one.

I just read some of the comments regarding our 8th grade math teacher.... I remember spit balls and Mike Charette always looking at my papers for the answers... Funny how we both did poorly in that class....

Does anyone remember Mr. Kuwack (sp??) . He taught French I believe in the 7th grade....

Susan Ouellette (Linehan)

He also taught French in HS. I had him freshman year. BTW, found some pictures of Cheryl Charette that probably aren't suitable for the slide show! Hint....camp!

On the last day of school, someone dared me to spray Mr. Keroack (?sp) with a water gun. Does anyone remember that I actually did it? He took me aside and told me he was very disappointed in me.

Cheryl, Was I the only one that qualified to be on that committee? There weren't many members, if I recall. I believe I was the Pres. VP, Sec, Treasurer and board of directors all at the same time.

Claire, too funny...guts to spray Mr. Kerwock. Wow!!! But..I'm impressed nonetheless.

Reading posts in this forum has me thinking of past teachers. I remember a teacher, I believe it was in the 6th grade, that used to turn the lights on and off when ever the class got out of control. Someone made a comment that whenever she flicked the lights on and off she was using an additional 15 cents of electricity. From that point on whenever she turned the lights on and off the class would say "15 cents, 15 cents, 15 cents".
Does anyone remember this or am I just recalling a bad dream I may of had.

Lisa,

Was it "IBTC"? I recall Steve Desjardins (principal for the day) making an announcement on the intercom for all interested members meet with Lisa Dumond, President, in the girls locker room! Challenge: What does "IBTC" stand for??!!

05/01/09 05:12 PM #175

Claire Morin (Dyer)

I remember! It was the "itty bitty titty committee"

05/01/09 05:16 PM #176

Claire Morin (Dyer)

Ha! Ha! I had forgotten all about the IBTC. Sorry Lisa for revealing the acronym. You were always a good sport about it too.

05/03/09 02:44 PM #177

Cheryl Charette (Guimond)

That's exactly what the IBTC stands for..... As I recall, Rob Levesque and Steve D were appointed Principal and V Principal for the day (some fund raiser we did as part of the Senior Class) and traded places for the day with I believe Mr Waddel and Mr Pelletier....I believe I was the guilty party who slipped the note to Steve or Bob to read at the end of day announcements... Yes Lisa you were very dedicated and held all those titles on the committee....

Leon, I believe the 6th grade teacher you are referring to Was Sister Margaret...

05/04/09 12:08 PM #179

Susan Ouellette (Linehan)

I remember hearing Lisa yelling "I will kill her"! after hearing the announcement!

The teachers in 6th grade were Sister Julie, Sister Ouida, and Claire Bouchard. Sister Margaret was 7th grade and I believe she then moved to 8th grade. Can't remember what I ate for dinner last night but for some reason I remember this! :)

Bernice Charette (Lithgow)

We had Sister Ouida in the sixth grade, and Sister
Margaret in the eight grade.

05/04/09 01:22 PM #181

Leon Pelletier

It was Mrs. Bouchard

05/05/09 04:18 PM #182

Cheryl Charette (Guimond)

Sue, Lisa didn't succeed... because I am very much alive today.....! Funny thing is ... I wear minimizer bras now... ha ha!!!

Susan Ouellette (Linehan)

Now that you made that announcement, everyone will be "checking you out" at the reunion!!!! LOL
