Retire Marine Corps 1982
Civil Service 1982 to present
- Naval Investigative Service (Now called NCIS)
Served as NIS Special Agent for 9 years while on active duty.
After retirement from USMC, spent 4 more years with NIS.
Can't stand TV show NCIS - it is so phony !!
- On-Site Inspection Agency working the START/INF, CWC, CTBT,
IAEA, and Open Skies Treaties
- Defense Threat Reduction Agency
Nunn-Lugar CTR Programs in Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan,
Ukraine, Uganda, and Kenya. Over the years, I have lived (not
just visited) in Japan twice, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan.

I've now been to 70+ countries; I'm sick of traveling !!

- Now that I'm past 70 and fully retired, I began working for the FBI
last week under contract doing background investigations. Pays
well, but more importantly it keeps me busy and off my butt.
