Graduated from Indiana University in 1966 with a BS in Accounting. Married in 1965 to Connie Hanes, (North Side HS '63) and were blessed with two daughters. Spent the next 37 years in the financial area as a Chief Financial Officer for various Public and Private companies. Served on numerous Boards as Audit Committee Chairman after retirement in 2003. Lived for 26 years in Southern California after residing in Fort Wayne; Solon, Ohio; and Valley Forge, PA. In 2000, moved to Northern California to be CFO of Adaptec (large high tech firm in Silicon Valley) before retirement. Served as the National Chairman of Financial Executives International (premier financial organization with a membership of 15,000 of the top leaders in the country) in 2001. Retired to Katy, Texas, in 2003, to be near our two daughters and their families. We currently reside in Scottsdale where we golf and enjoy the beautiful climate and are building a new home in Eagle, ID We have moved into our new home in Eagle, ID on June 2
We have three grandchildren, two boys that just graduated with honors from Seven Lakes HS in Katy. One was Captain of the Golf team and the other was the number one receiver on the football team. The two grandsons will both be freshman at Arizona State University in Tempe. Our granddaugther is now in the eighth grade and excels at volleyball and soccer. Update on the grandchildren, Grandson Corbin is a graduate of Arizona State and owns a wealth management company, grandson Carter is a Texas A&M graduate and is teaching and coaching in Katy Texas and our granddaughter is a senior at Baylor, studying to be a teacher. Boy are we blessed!!

I served as Treasurer and President of our Lutheran congregation in Southern California and am currently an Elder in the Presbyterian Church. We spend a lot of our spare time traveling and playing Golf.

Principal in a new Company in Idaho that provides cladding for the building industry
