I know some of you; but if you remember, Kurt and I switched classes when you advanced from the junior year to your senior year, which meant that you were "Double Jordaned". Sorry about that. I'll bet you were looking forward to an easy senior year.

School Story

I graduated in 1998 when I retired. I have been active at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, teaching Bible classes, writing devotions, volunteering at the food bank and helping people in various ways. I currently am doing a lot visiting of older people, but I am finding that I am moving closer to the next stage where I will be the one visited. For now I have been blessed with good health and still have the energy to help others.

I remember Mark Schwehn with his squeaky voice pleading with General Custer not to go. I also remember Dave Widenhofer helping an opposing player off the floor in the sectional basketball tournament, an act of sportsmanship I had rarely seen in sports.

I lived and taught in Muskegon before I came to CLHS to teach. Our family attended Trinity because my oldest son Rik went there. Our church life was rich and greatly influenced my decisions to return to Christianity and become a Lutheran teacher.
