Victor John Wenglikowski

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Victor John Wenglikowski on January 22, 2025. John passed in the comfort of his home in Huntsville, Texas, surrounded by his loved ones, at the age of 72.
Born on December 20, 1952, in Bay City, Michigan, John made an instant impact on everyone who met him. We will remember John for his protective nature, playfulness, and endearing stubbornness. John was a proud Vietnam Veteran with the U.S. Navy. He demonstrated courage, honor, and unwavering commitment to his country. After serving his country, John went on to work in the field of Information Technology.
John was an active member of the Saint Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church and spent many years as a member of the Knights of Columbus.
John was a devoted husband and father who always placed his family at the center of his life. His steadfast love and strength were the foundation of the family he cherished. He taught those around him the true meaning of resilience and dedication.

John is survived by his loving wife, Vonda; his daughter, Arrin (Jeremy) Hill; his son, Brett (Katie) Wenglikowski; his grandchildren, Victoria-Nicholle Wenglikowski, Dylan and Jayce Hill; his fur babies, Dixie and Mindy; and his siblings, Linda (Tom) Volpe, David Wenglikowski, Martin (Deb) Wenglikowski, Alan (Melissa) Wenglikowski, Phillip (Lori) Wenglikowski, Neal Wenglikowski, and many adoring nieces and nephews. John is preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Doris Wenglikowski, and his son, Kyle Wenglikowski.
A service with military honors will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025, at 10:30 A.M. at Saint Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 1603 Ave N, Huntsville, TX 77340, with a reception to follow.
