Steven "Steve" Grant Morris, 57, of Middletown, passed away this week at his home.  Preceded in death was an infant brother, Terry Lee, his mother, Martha Jean "Jeanie" Morris, and his father, Estle Lee Morris.  Steve has one son, Seth Steven (wife Andi) Morris and two grandchildren, Makayla Reann and Blake.  Steve has one sister, Delores J. Howard (husband Hugh), nephew Brady H. Howard (wife, Erica), nephew Ryan P. Howard (wife Jenny, children Hannah & Hayden) and one niece Leah J. Hounshell (husband Andy, children Averi and Noah).  Steve had a keen sense of wit.  He was an avid crossword puzzle solver and he also loved writing.  He enjoyed watching sports and old movies, but he especially enjoyed all the history channels.  An employed accident resulted in the loss of some fingers and the limited use of his right arm.  Steve learned to write again with his thumb and index finger.  He loved playing the drums so much that he managed to teach himself how to play again.  He played the blues with family and friends as often as they could get together.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2011 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home.  A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 1:00pm at the funeral home with Mr. Hugh Howard officiating.  Internment will be Butler County Memorial Park.  Condolences may be sent to the family at www.bakerstevensparramore.com.
