I would suggest everyone checking in @ 10:00. These were the earliest I could get, other than 7:30, which I'm guessing would be too early for some. 9 holes should take 2 hrs. and 15-30 min. approx.

Pat, if you need any help setting up @ the clubhouse, I could meet you there @ 9:00-ish and we could do whatever is needed prior to the golf. Let me know.

Hey guys, just got back from MO and am catching up with the messages. I think I'll be able to make it to the Getaway Friday night, not sure about Edgars.

Thanks for the offers to help with the setup. Will let you all know if help is needed, but for now I think we have it covered. Paul, do you know how early we can get in to the clubhouse??

Rhonda, if you still want me to put the pictures on the 1980 site, I'd be happy to do it. Still cracks me up that you got pictures of Black Worm!! Might be a good time for a reunion tour.

Troy Howard Yeah the old "Black Worm" photo's were a riot, I think one of the custom cardboard guitars is still in my parents basement! I think we could do better pyro technics these days too!...lol

Hey everyone,
I will be at the clubhouse at 9:00 on Saturday to get the key and set up. Pat will probably be busy setting up his cassette player. I could use help setting up tables and chairs. Also I just found out we have to clean the place when we are done. Put tables and chairs away, clean the bar area, sweep the floor, mop up any spills etc. Volunteers would be greatly appreciated. Food has been ordered for everyone who indicated they were coming whether they have registered and payed or not, so I hope everyone shows up and starts paying. So far about 8 families have paid. Friday at edgars sound great. Going to get me a cherry sprite frosty.

I will stay until the fat lady sings on Sat and will help clean up, as well. Also, I have tried to pay, but for some reason it is not taking my debit card. Can I bring the $$ on Sat?

Todd, Ben has had a death in the family and will be heading back to Cincinnati on Wed evening for a funeral. He is not planning on coming back until the following Monday. Unfortunately, that means he is out for golf. If you cannot get someone to replace him and we need to pay, I will cover that.

Not sure about Friday night - I'll try to make it but with Ben gone that makes me one parent short and lots of kid activities going on...

Michelle, sorry to hear of the news. Not a problem, the golf hasn't been paid for yet. Everyone will just pay when they check in Sat. AM.

That makes another open spot in the spousal group for anyone interested. I would have my wife join, but turns out she may not be able to make it at all. She's a nurse, and is scheduled to work this weekend, with our vacation coming up the following week, she couldn't ask off.

Paul Wells Michelle, no problem bringing money Sat., have had same problem by several people. Make that 1 less for the spousal 4some. Mandi saw the 100 degree forcast and now all the sudden the babysitter fell though. Does that make 10 of us? if so, we could do 2 5somes. We could keep all three ttimes so nobody would follow us to close

Just getting back from the Royals game, they were losing, then the rain came. They still s*ck after all these years, but I still enjoy going. Maybe it's the beer, or the hotdogs, or ......I don't know.

We'll see you (and everyone who's golfing) Saturday around 10. We might be there early to help set up. Depends how early we can get away from the kids. Where do we meet Saturday for golf? clubhouse? or where everyone's setting up?

Belinda if you called about the dress code, let me know. I am not looking forward to the heat! I'm usually at the pool when it's that hot. :) Mike thinks we should go at 7:30. I told him NO WAY!

I plan on helping out at 9:00, then I will be at the golf course by 10:00. I would say that would be the easiest.

I'm normally an early morning golfer, but didn't want to subject everyone to the 7:30 tee time if that was too early!! Since we're only playing 9 holes, it shouldn't be too bad. Just load up on water, Gatorade, etc.

Pat, will you be wearing your Speedo to play golf in since it'll be so hot?

Todd Chapple Most golf courses frown upon bringing your own cooler, but what I usually do is throw a few in my golf bag, buy 1 or 2 from the course and get one of their coolers, then throw my own in after the first hole. (But you didn't hear that from me!! :)

Belinda Ast (Brandt) Hey Ang, I did call and they said that they like collared shirts, but will allow t-shirts. Women may wear sleeveless tops. They are not real strict, but absolutely will not allow guys to wear tank tops or sleeveless shirts. I guess they think guys are sloppier looking in them.
