During my years in the workforce; I have had the opportunity to work in many industries. I have always wanted to be a business owner so I started AshVonte & Associates, a marketing firm in 2002 and work it part time. With seven years of service to InServe Corporation, my duties and responsibilities in Corporate America encouraged me to take business ownership very seriously after being laid off from there in 2001. I put a list of things together that I always wanted to do but put off because of my full time job. One of those items was producing and hosting a talk show. I created a local talk show on the Charlotte Mecklenburg Public Access Channel called "Keeping It Real" which initially aired in 2002. I co-hosted "The Connie & LaVonda Show" on UPN for one season. After four years, I am back on the air as Producer & Host of "Keeping It Real" with LaVonda which airs every Tuesday at 4:30PM on Time Warner Cable channel 21 in Charlotte. My business experiences allowed me to gain the passion to help other start their own businesses. With that vision, I started turnyourpassionintoprofits.com which is an annual one day seminar and personal business buddy consultant concept. I've launched many business ventures and the most exciting one recently is DC Morgan, Inc., a custom labeled bottled water company. I give God all of the glory, honor and praise for what He has done in my life.
