Hello to all my classmates,
I am very concerned that our country is not evolving as I would like it to be.
I was just watching on Netflix a document that may help us stop all the separation, division, and racism. Check it out. The title: "I am not your Negro."
It starts in 1997 years after our graduation and we are still dealing with the same mentality.
My thinking is after all these years what do we have to do to speak the truth?
We are all human beings made in the image of GOD. My ancestors were on this land before the Europeans landed and started the historical lies that have been handed down generation after generation. I remember in school one friend asked me if colored boys had tails like monkeys. I laughed and said no, who told you that? She was told that and she believed it.
Human beings are human beings are human beings. The color of one's skin is what The Almighty chose this time around. I hope the next time we come back as humans instead of pigs, cows, or roaches.
What I am writing is just frustration. How in 2022 we are still looking at individuals' color of skin instead of their character and values. I recently watched a document that mentioned the murder of 1 million human beings in Africa. Why? Europeans taught that the length of each other's noses made a difference. Who can hear me? The size of a nose. They were taught and separated that if you had a long nose you had European blood and must be extinguished.
Who is hearing me?
Please, if you hear someone say kill, harm, murder, shoot, stab, or hang a person just because of the color of skin, the length of a nose, they love someone that we were taught they should not love, or they have different eyes, or a person from a different world, tell them to stop. Tell them that The Almighty put all of us on Earth just the way we were to be.
We are to love unconditionally.
