Hey, guys,
I was real sorry to hear about Scott. He and I were buds in jr. high and early high school years. I remember being at his house one day and he had a bee hive in a tree. We shot that thing with a shotgun, and spent the rest of the day running and hiding from those things. They chased us for hours. I'll also join you guys at 7:00. We can pull him through this.

I am at a judicial conference in New Orleans and will be at a function, but I am setting my alarm on my phone for that time so that I can find a quiet place and pray with you all. Thanks, Chad, for calling us all together for Frank.

CHAD DONT SAY ANYTHING ABOUT YOUR KIDS,I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE BOTH OF MY KIDS TO DRIVE ME TO A TOTAL DEATH, I WILL PRAY FOR YOU WITH ALL THE PROBLEMS YOU HAVE AND BELIEVE ME I UNDERSTAND THEM. BUT GOD HAS BLESSED YOU WITH ALL OF YOUR CHILDREN TO RUN YOU TO AN EARLY DEATH.I CANT GIVE YOU ANY RELIEF OR PRAYER FOR A GIFT FROM GOD. DON'T GET ME WRONG CHAD I DO UNDERSTAND AND REMEMBER HOW IT USE TO BE. NOW WHEN MY DAUGHTER COMES OVER ,WE JUST LOOK AT EACH OTHER CRY AND HUG AND TALK ABOUT HOW IT WOULD BE IF LITTLE KENNY WAS HERE.I DONT WANT TO PREACH TO A DEAR FRIEND LIKE YOU ARE TO ME,BUT THINK ABOUT IT.AND I PRAYED FOR FRANK BUT ALSO FOR ALL OF US, BECAUSE IT COULD HAPPEN TO EACH AND EVERY ONE OF US TONIGHT.GOD BLESS ALL OF US AND I WILL BE SO GLAD TO SEE ALL OF YOU AT THE REUNION.I HAVE FORGOTTON THE THE BAND THAT PUT THIS SONG OUT ,HELP ME GEORGE,BUT IN MY FAMILY ," EVERY DAY WE HAVE TO CRY SOME"!I DO LOVE YOU CHAD,YOUR A GREAT FRIEND.AND PERSON WITH A BIG HEART,THATS WHY IT DIDNT STOP WHEN YOU HAD YOUR HEART ATTACKS.I KNOW HOW THEY FEEL I HAD ONE TOO! LOVE TO ALL KENNY

YOU CAN COME TO MY HOUSE AND HIDE,ILL THROW YOU A ROOSTER LEG EVERY NOW AND THEN HA HA .HEY I FOUND SOME PINE CONES THE OTHER DAY. DO YOU JUST PULL THE LEAVES DOWN ALITTLE ON SOME AND MORE ON OTHERS? THEN PAINT THEM
I BUILD THE OLD SOUTH SHOTGUN HOUSES,USING POPCYCLE STICKS THEY TAKE SO LONG TO BUILD AND YOUR FINGERS GET REAL CLOSE TO THE SCROLL SAW, I CAN FEEL THE BLADE MOVING.BUT I HAVE HAD WOMAN GIVE ME 125.00 EACH FOR THEM.
BUT THATS NOT A LOT OF MONEY FOR THE TIME AND DANGER. I WILL PAINT THE SIDES OD THE HOUSE AND PUT THEM IN THE YARD TO RAIN ON THEM,SO THE PAINT LOOKS OLD AND THE POPCYCLE STICKS I CUT THEM TO LOOK LIKE CRACKS IN THE SIDING.IT GETS REAL TROUBLESOME SOMETIMES. I HAVE ONE I STARTED 1 1/2 YEARS AGO AND HAS NO ROOF YET.ILL SEND YOU ONE WHEN I GET THE GUTS TO FINISH IT. KENNY

The way everyone immediately responded to the prayer request was so heart warming. I had chill bumps reading this forum. What a group we turned out to be. Who would have thought it!! Our parents would be proud.

Nancy, I know what you mean about praying for your children. It seems you stay on your knees when they are teenagers and just when it seems they will be ok, grandchildren come along and back to the knees. But "ain't" life grand even with its heartaches and
tough times. Even better now that we have all gotten
back in touch. It just seems to me that God had his hand
in this reunion!

George,
You should be used to kneeling by now. 58 yrs of Mass every Sunday.....and speaking of knees.....(remember)the basketball court wasn't hard enough that they rolled out that painful mat every Friday for Mass.
St. Joe classmates...I am in G'ville this week visiting my mother. I went to church Sunday night and was lifted up in such a wonderful, peaceful place in my memory that I didn't want to leave. For those of you who haven't been to our church in a while lets please make plans to go as a group the Sunday of our reunion...it is so beautiful that it will take your breath.

Jane,
I found a picture of Cathy Cross and she was born Nov. 4, 1951 and died Nov. 1, 1964.

Nancy, I love the cheerleader picture. It is great. St. Joseph's Church is beautiful. I feel so at peace there. We are scheduled to go to 10:30 Mass Sunday in honor of Cathy, Celeste, Susan and Al. Flowers also on the altar. Can't wait to visit and walk with you at the Y this afternoon. Hope it doesn't rain. Thanks for the dates on Cathy Cross. It was such a sad day when she was killed.

I remember those kneepads like it was yesterday @ the old cowbarn. Also remember a member of the J'xon Ms City Council (may be former councilman)wearing a pair of my boxers (pink @ that) and playing an entire basketball game in them. stone cold sober, I might add.

Aside.........Jenny seems like a dream. Sometimes things happen for the best; Take care.

Rooster,
Joe and I were just at dinner with that former councilman(and his wife) of whom you speak. I won't be able to look at him with a straight face from now on....Can't believe Joe never told me that story! MP

Kenny,
The Gentrys from Memphis put out "Every Day I Have to Cry Some" in May 1966.Their hit "Keep on Dancin'" was probably their biggest hit though I personally liked E.D.I.H.T.C.S better. The Beau Brummels' song "I Cry Just a Little" was also a big secondary hit to their monster hit "Laugh Laugh" and I always liked it better too.Guess I just like cryin' songs and have become a big country music fan as a result.Sorry for your trials, know that God has a plan.
Rooster,
Volleyball games were such a blast as was much of what we did back in the day.Just because our bodies are older doesn't mean that we don't think that we can't "Go up the middle one more time coach".Life is short,so let's start making up for lost years with each other.I check the profiles everyday waiting for an A to appear by your name.It would be great to see you there in June. Thanks for the kind words about Jenny--sometimes you just know when it's right.
