Rebecca that would be more interesting. The problem I see is I haven't been skinny dippin in quite a few years. I'd bet they have laws about people our age doing it anyway.
Brenda all I can say is wow! Though what you said fits most every aspect of life if you were still hurting I am glad you got it off your chest. I hope you feel better and I really mean that. I think if you can find forgiveness for those of us who failed you then you will realize we were just being human. That fact alone is why as Christ was sent so we could be forgiven. Doubting that he can change people well is doubting the power of that forgiveness. May I to add my I'm sorry if I in anyway hurt you or anyone for that matter.
May god bless us all

Ken, great posting.

Brenda, I can't dispute what and say; however, I think we all have grown and matured alot in 40 years. I hope you will join in the message forum and hope that fences will be mended.

JGLF,HUH? I really don't remember you. Sorry.

Jobana Gaye Larson (Frey)

I am sorry, too. But, on the bright side of things if you don't remember me then that means that maybe I didn't do anything to leave bad memories of me. I was really worried that I had hurt your feelings somewhere along the way. I look forward to seeing you at the reunion. Please come find me if you can. I would like to get to know you. I DO remember you.

Wayne...wasn't Mrs. Jackson one of the first black teachers at GHS? I heard not long ago that she died: the black teacher. She was nice and interesting. I know it must have been tough for her. I think she came over from Coleman.

Brenda, you are definitely part of this forum now. Do not leave us hanging. We want to hear more from you and about you. I remember you.

I have been reading this and trying to work also. It got a little like a soap opera but all ended well. I really believe we are ALL going to have a great time and let the past stay in the past. Good times ahead for the GHS & St Joe Class of 69. Yuk, I sounded like a cheerleader. Would wear my old cheerleader skirt but not enough elastic to put in the waist so it would fit. LOL

Scooter,
Was Mrs. Jackson the typing teacher. She was wonderful! Love the emoticons:) I'm gonna be extra nice to you cause I don't want 'fat' one!

Marilyn,
I think with all the personality on the message board, we DO need a soap name! Did you see the Solomon drum major on my profile? She is a cutie-patootie! MP

I remember Mrs. Jackson very well. She was pretty stupid. Anytime some would ask her a question she would tell Arnold Seid to come up and explain it to the class.

05/06/09 05:57 PM #1066

Peggy Lynn Gresham (Fisher)

If Arnold Seid was in Ms. Jackson's math class, that probably explains why I was not and I don't remember her. Whatever kind of math he was taking, it would have been way above my head!!! However, I was in Miss Mary Keady's Latin class with Arnold!!! Loved her. I actually learned something in that class. Probably not as much as Arnold!!!!

Diane Brent (Dantone)

Randy, I remember Ms. Jackson by the way she wore her clothes...she wore the tightest skirts and sweaters I ever saw anyone wear, and got away with it. Also remember that she was very intimidated by the guys in our Algebra II class.

05/06/09 06:01 PM #1068

James Randy Bentley

Do you remember she always wore bright red and red high heel shoes on Friday. But don't think I really paid that much attention, if you know what I mean

James Randy Bentley

Joe, I just saw that picture of me and Mary Pryor. No wonder my first wife and I got divorced. Damn!

05/06/09 06:09 PM #1070

Diane Brent (Dantone)

LOL, sure you didn't, you and none of the other red blooded guys in those classes...do you remember also those tear drop pens she wore in a very strategic location on her upper half along with those tight, tight sweaters?

05/06/09 06:55 PM #1071

Allan Alexander

I don't know whether Mrs. Jackson was "stupid" or not because I never could do math at all. I did, however, really like her and admire her because she was one of only two African-American teachers who taught at the high school. She had to have been so brave to do that. And she never, never took the bait when someone tried to get to her; always responded with good humor and caring.

Chad, send me the name of the place that can enlarge my cheerleader skirt but I think it might lose the effect...LOL

Mary Pryor...what can our soap opera name be? Good idea!
Like "As The Forum Turns"...not bad.

Where is George and Danny??? I need George to run an errand for me. George, would you mind going to Reed's and picking me up some Spanz...size small of course.
Don't have them in West Point...LOL

05/06/09 07:48 PM #1073

Peggy Lynn Gresham (Fisher)

You need to get on that errand for Marilyn!!! You know all us women need our special undergarments for the Reunion..!!!! While you are there, could you pick me up some wrinkle remover(ie. miracle cream)!!

Marilyn,

You are too funny!!! Can't wait to see you!!!
