Randy, The picure of Joe is too funny. Nancy and Frank loved it. Joe Dantone called tonight and we had a great visit on the phone. He is going to sing snd play Saturday night during Happy Hour and The Chill's breaks.

Victor, Count me in on the crossword puzzles. I am like Martha I try to keep this brain working. I remember Dorothy. Didn't she live on Cannon and had long hair?

Chris, Your pictures are great. I talked to Melanie today and asked her join us at the reunion. She said she would be there. You are still Most Handsome.

Debra, your family is beautiful. Love the pictures.

This message forum reminds me of the old Brownie and Girl Scout saying "Make new friends, but keep the old, one is silver and the other gold".

Speaking of Brownies....I never make a bed where I don't think of Mary Walsh's mother, Florence. She was our Brownie leader. Mrs. Walsh had 5 kids and she took the troop to her house to learn how to make a bed. We had to make all the beds in the house. Too funny.

You asked about the photos of the ships that I posted on my profile and the Big one is the USS Enterprise and the smaller one is the USS Recovery. If you've ever seem the movie "Men of Honor" about the Navys first black diver, well I was there and served on the Recovery with Master Chief Carl Brashear. He was a great man and a great movie.

Chad

PS: I posted a picture of him in my profile

Chad, that is one of my favorite movies. I bought it! What a wonderful experience. I can't wait to pick your brain for more memories. Love the ships but I have motion sickness and they would not want me on board. Susan, take a long nap and get in touch with me tomorrow night. Got to keep grandkids tomorrow for a while. Lynn, I will keep your daughter and new grandbaby in my prayers. Joe and Mary Pryor, hope you are having fun at the beach and remembering the folks that have to work. I got a phone call today at work from two nerds...George S. and Danny H. They are crazy! I made them promise not to repeat all of our conversation or else! June 5th is almost here...yea!!!

mp and joe - i have prayed for the rain to stay up north of ya'll all week....we have gotten plenty, so hopefully you haven't...... BUT - please do not tell Jim, he has been trying to bale hay all week, and is moaning and groaning about how much money he is going to lose!

marilyn, i am going to bed now! this has really been an exhausting week......

Ya'll pray for my momma...this Alzheimer's is a sad, sad thing to happen to a person. Bless her heart, she is just as happy as she can be talking to pictures, taking down beds, moving furniture, and JIm and I feel like we are raising another child. We never know what to expect from day to day.

chad, I know you are tired. That Canton Flea Market is a world of its own. Run to Wendy's tonight, and don't try to cook up one of your Paula Deen suppers.....

Danny and George - MARILYN TOLD ME EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!

Marilyn;

Sea sickness is bad, just wake up in the morning on ship, when the ship is in heavy swells, say above 25 foot sweels and smell those eggs and sausage cooking and its ten times worst. I was on bridge watch one night when the ship was rocking so much that when we rock from side to side, our mast would actully touch the sea. Thats real sea sickness. Tell you more later

Chad,
My son just got out of the Navy in Jan. He served four years on the USS Carl Vinson. CVN70. Those carriers are so massive. He talks about those rough storms too. He was in the Persian Gulf and over around North Korea when they were getting snooty.

I'm exhausted!! I just finished the school year - I teach nursing at MDCC and I have been reading for a week trying to catch up with "ATFTS" I've had a great time reminiscing. So many bittersweet memories. I lived across the street from Richard Sinclair - we chased the mosquito man together. I can't believe we have lost so many of our classmates. I am impressed with your memories!

I remember Frank and Rayner and MPA from First Pres Kindergarten!

Brenda C!! Girl where have you been?! I remember my birthday party at LBs house. You talked a guy I had a crush on into coming - he showed up late, danced 2 dances with you and left because you wouldn't go out with him. Remember who that was? Life has been tough at times for all of us! I'm just thankful for this opportunity to get to know so many of you and we are brothers and sisters in Christ! How great is that?

Linda, I remember the Em Boyd playground too and the fun we had there.

Does anyone remember a senior dance at a barn somewhere? The band played 96 tears, midnight hour and when a man loves a woman all night over and over and over. What band and where I do not know.

Steve and I will not be able to attend the reunion. We have a wedding in Starkville that weekend. I have enjoyed this so much. I want to see pictures!

Check out Steve's website at mississippi delta hunts - Ronnie N - the delta still has some redeeming qualities. Most of our hunters are from out of state.

We are expecting our first grandchild the 25th of this month. Thanks for all the suggestions. Steve will be Boss because thats who he is around here, but I haven't decided. I guess she will name me. Her daddy will be leaving for Iraq sometime this summer. 3rd time, first 2 in Afghanistan. Pray for him. Jason Prather

If any of you remember, I was quiet in school too - I guess I just blew that out of the water.

Good to finally get a word in!! Keep talking. KayFP

Hey everybody --

I got a wonderful note from Frank yesterday. He asked us to keep him on the GHS/St. Joe prayer list. He was in Philadelphia getting palliative care when he wrote the note. Remember him, please. He and Rayner are keeping up with our conversations, remembrances and prayers.

Hey, Kay. Yes, you were shy, but I'm so glad to hear your news.

I'm still reading all this, amazed that so much went on that I had no idea about, but I love keeping up with all of you.

--Allan
