Micheal;

Yes they are massive. I spent nearly 2 1/2 years on the Enterprise and never did get to see all of her. Theres almost as much of her under the water line as there is above. Its crazy that something that hugh and with that many people on board (over 5000) can float.

Victor:
I like crossword pussles but, my mother loves them. She had a full knee replacement on monday and she would really get some wonderful use of some if you could. Thanks

Kenny:
I know I know who he is but the name escapes me. I'll bet someone here can tell you though.

Frank:
I am remembering you daily in prayer. Your family as well may God bless.

Susan:
Linda's mother suffer with dementia during her last few years and it is so hard to see their memory go. It is also very difficult on those taking care of them in many ways. I will pray for you and Jim as well as your mother. God bless you and give you the gifts you need to deal with this.

Everyone:
We all have hard times and often I need reminding. Our brave men protecting this nation and their families suffer daily so we may be free and comfortable. I pledge to lift them up in prayer more urnestly than ever.

Allan, Good to hear you on here. I can't wait to see you! Thanks for sharing the info about Frank and Rayner with all of us. They are on my prayer list. I am like you-- I read all of this and laugh at myself at how naive I was. I never knew the half of it. It's been wonderful to read about and see everyone have so much fun.

Kay, glad to hear about your grandbaby. Please when Jason gets deployed and downrange send me his address so I can get my team to support him while he is there. My son Will is also active duty Air Force, deployed twice once to Iraq and once to Afghanistan. Getting ready to go back fairly soon as well. He's Air Force but Intel so he's boots on the ground and has been in a lot of action. Where is your Jason stationed now? I support hundreds of guys and units so please do send me his info and I'll send care packages to them.I have a huge group or groups of folks that help me --churches, civic groups, I can barely keep track of it now it has grown so large. I am part of a large network Soldiers' Angels that supports guys and gals downrange. My profile has all of my info where you can reach me. It would be an honor to support him.

Chad, I loved your post about your military experiences and that great story about MC Brashear. Thanks for al of your dedicated service to our country.

Chad: So true about the cookies. When my husband was in Viet Nam his mother sent him oatmeal cookies. He asked me to make some this morning. The first batch just came out of the oven. Wish you were here to share them with him.

Frank and Rayner: You are in the Frey prayers daily and also on our prayer list at church. I know that God is watching over you both.

George-Can't remember the Sheepherder's Special story. Maybe Bobby or 'T' will tell the story. Must have been the George Seaton's PBR'S. I do remember Mr. Strazi called Mickey Spider and called me Little Spider. Yes, I did get kicked off the curb once. I can still hear Mr. Strazi say "Little Spider get off my curb I don't need your business. Stay away for a week." I felt like I had been sent to Siberia.

Donnie,
I definitley remember the sheepherders special story. Probably one of the best stories about Strazi's ever excluding the Dale Mann episode.

I have made a list of 11 people who, either on this forum or otherwise, have said that they are crossword fans.

Would each of you 11, plus anyone else who really is a crossword fan, please send me a private email, so that I will have your email address for a couple of special projects as the reunion date nears.

Thanks,

Victor

P.S. to Chad Cook - Good idea on the personalized crossword puzzle. I will look into that.

Just curious about the Yacht Club. I know our fearless leaders have things under control.....just wondering if there is an alternative plan

Becky,
I think George told me he had talked to Johnny Pete and he said that the Country Club was the back up plan. Hard to believe the water is that high. Is there more rain coming? MPAS

Donnie,
What got you kicked off the curb at Strazi's?Maybe it was the fact that I was in your car when I asked the carhop for the sheepherder's special and you were guilty by association.
Victor,
Please add Jenny to your list of crossworders, she's pretty good and is also good at directing a few cross words at me when I step out of line.
Rick,
I really enjoyed your story about the infamous Gator and after spending last Thursday night and Friday morning with him I can tell you that he remembers it well.Looking forward to seeing you at the reunion.
Danny,
We had a ball visiting with you in Starkville and you made a wonderful impression on Jenny, who is now convinced that she is in our class of 69.Your rock star bus is awesome and you are certainly worthy of the rock star status that you most certainly have.Might I suggest that at the reunion,we see how many of us can pile in and all go parking on Haunted House Road for a late night party.Maybe someone will bring some contraband beer and we can hook up an 8-track player and dance in the street(road).
Marilyn,
Danny's designation as our resident Covert operative now goes to you, code named Queen, and I know that you know to what I speak!!After Danny's visit, his well deserved code name is 5-Star.
Lynn and Tommy,
Hope all is well with birthing babies.Your reservation at Hotel Sherman is confirmed for Oct. 24th, when the Bulldogs are scheduled to whip the Gators in Starkville. If we're lucky maybe we can convince some of the Greenville,Jackson and others in our class to come for a Big Chill weekend.Should be cooler weather and lots of outdoor fun.

Committe meets Tuesday night strictly about flood.
Ken reserved Country Club two weeks ago as back up plan
And it looks like we will relocate Friday night for GHS.
As quickly as Committee finalizes, we will post location.
We just want to give All Committee members a voice and see
if there are any other alternatives for Friday night
gathering. All who indicated on web profile as attending
Reunion will also receive an Email update of agenda on
or about May 25th or so. Thanks, johnny

Linda Dianne Burnett (Kistner)

MP - no, the one's in this area spell their name Kisner. Ken is originally from Evansville, Indiana but retired here with the Air Force. We both love this area!

For the band members who remember my sister, Mary Ann - she sends a big hello to all. Had to call her this morning to brag on my 9 year old granddaughter - Anna was in a dance pagent last night and actually did a baton routine. She actually likes the baton workouts a lot more than ballet. Anna definitely takes after Mary Ann and not her grammy.

KayP - you will sorely be missed!! If Brenda C. doesn't remember the young man's name - I do!!!!
