I visited Ramsey on Saturday and Sunday before he passed in the assisted living facility in Atlanta. George Fisher joined Dianne and me with multiple belly laughs from personal stories from high school, college, wives and children. He had suffered two strokes in the past few years. I still remember his acceptance of the most handsome award at bogie reunion in his peach blazer, white slacks, a Miami tan, and white tooth smile. He dazzled us all. All he was missing was his blue suede shoes. Let me remind some that Ram won many dance contests in his day one even when was in his 60's. May he rest in peace with the Gators , golf, SEC sports to fill his thoughts. He loved to fish and I took him to Costa Rica on a 4 man sailfish trip 10 years ago and he caught his first big fish. I will always miss my friend who I first met in the 9th grade at Disston I had returned from 2 years living in Bonifay and Ram a lost boy who had my same Deep South accent from Mississippi bonded. This one hurts.
